What is an asbestos survey?

Asbestos surveys are carried out to determine - 

1. If there is any asbestos containing materials in or around the property. If any is found, a sample will be taken safely and sent for assessment at a UKAS accredited laboratory, to determine what type of asbestos it is.
2. Highlight the location of the asbestos.
3. Determine the condition of the asbestos containing materials.
