Accreditations and Industry Memberships 

At BLS Asbestos we are incredibly proud of the awards and accreditations we have built-up over the 20 years we have been in operation. 

We hold a full three year licence awarded to us by the Health and Safety Executive to work with asbestos insulation and asbestos insulation board for the purpose of removal. This is the maximum duration that can be awarded to any asbestos removal company operating within the UK. 

In addition to this we have a licence to transport hazardous waste, which has been presented to us by the Environment Agency. 

We are a full member of ARCA (Asbestos Removal Contractors Association), in which we hold their Site Audit Accreditation Scheme. To continue holding this prestigious  award, ARCA carry out two unannounced site audits every year. 

We hold the Contractors Health and Safety Assessment Scheme accreditation, so you can also be safe in the knowledge that we work to the highest of standards where health and safety is involved.

BLS Asbestos are members of SafeContractor, which is an SSIP accreditation and is awarded for passing health, safety, financial and ethical practices.

Finally, you can be safe in the knowledge that if you choose BLS Asbestos for your asbestos removal needs that we have passed the PAS 91 questionnaire, which verifies us a Constructionline member.
